A 26-year-old woman died after falling from height at Block 257 Yishun Ring Road on Saturday, 11 July 2026, at approximately 1.10am. Emergency responders transported her to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in an unconscious state, but she was pronounced dead in hospital. The Singapore Police Force attended the scene and found no evidence of foul play based on preliminary investigations.

Town council workers were later seen cleaning bloodstains from the pavement at the rear of the block. The incident occurred six days after a similar fall from height case at Block 800 Yishun Ring Road on 5 July, in which a 78-year-old man was found dead at the scene. Police investigations into both incidents remain ongoing. The Samaritans of Singapore reported 314 suicide deaths in 2024, with the largest increase among adults aged 30 to 39.
