A 48-year-old man was beaten unconscious by a group of five to six attackers at an open-air carpark near Block 243 Yishun Ring Road on the night of 24 July 2026. Witnesses told Shin Min Daily News that they observed the group repeatedly punching and kicking the man until he fell to the ground and lost consciousness, with one 18-year-old resident reporting he saw the assault continue even after the victim collapsed.

The man was found bleeding with facial injuries and was conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in an unconscious state by the Singapore Civil Defence Force. A 57-year-old resident named Adam and another witness named Sulaiman both corroborated the incident. Police arrived at approximately 8pm after being alerted and cordoned off the scene for about two hours, discovering a pool of blood near motorcycle parking spaces along with debris including part of a shoe and cigarette butts.

Officers were observed searching the vicinity and reportedly asked nearby convenience store staff if they had seen a man with blonde hair. The attackers fled before police arrival. The Singapore Police Force confirmed investigations are ongoing and efforts to trace the other persons involved are underway.
