78-year-old found dead at foot of Block 800 Yishun Ring Road after fall from height

A 78-year-old man was found dead at the base of Block 800 Yishun Ring Road on Sunday, 5 July, after falling from height. The incident was discovered at approximately 2pm, with a blue police tent erected beside the block's Lift B and a cordon established at ground level. Singapore Police Force and SCDF confirmed the man was found lying motionless and was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic. A resident from the block told AsiaOne she did not recognise the man and did not believe he was a resident of the block. Police confirmed the fall from height but stated that preliminary investigations do not suggest foul play, with investigations remaining ongoing.
