Yishun teen bullied, beaten by group despite passerby's intervention at Ave 6
A secondary school boy sustained visible injuries to his leg after being surrounded and assaulted by a group of teenagers at 462A Yishun Avenue 6 around 6:10pm on August 19, 2026. A female passerby witnessed one of the boys slapping the victim's face and intervened, taking photographs and confronting the group, which prompted them to flee on bicycles and on foot. The boy appeared weak and dizzy, struggling to stand and falling when he attempted to get up, and told the woman he had been hit and needed medical attention for signs of giddiness.
Despite the passerby's advice to remain at the scene while she contacted police and an ambulance, the other boys urged the victim to flee with themβand he complied, leaving before either emergency service could be called. The woman later posted about the incident on Facebook, calling for police to review CCTV footage and investigate. "This is atrocious. So many against one boy!" she wrote, expressing concern that the boy's injuries and apparent disorientation suggested he required urgent medical care.
