Massive tree parks itself between two cars in Yishun, no one impressed

A large tree was uprooted and fell between two parked vehicles at the car park beside Block 645 Yishun Street 61 during heavy rain on the morning of July 13, 2021. The tree, apparently unaware of HDB parking regulations, came to rest neatly between the two cars at approximately 8:39am, obstructing traffic in the car park without causing injury to any person or vehicle. Nee Soon GRC MP Faishal Ibrahim noted on Facebook that the town council responded promptly, sending a team to regulate traffic and clear the scene. The fallen tree was removed within the hour, restoring order to the car park and denying the tree its apparent ambition of becoming a permanent resident of Yishun Street 61.
