ComfortDelGro taxi navigates Yishun PCN at night, driver 'very lost'

A ComfortDelGro taxi ended up on the park connector network (PCN) near Block 461 Yishun Avenue 6 on Aug 26 at approximately 10.45pm, prompting concern from resident Eunie who spotted the vehicle on the paved path. The taxi driver exited the vehicle appearing disoriented, and several passers-by assisted in guiding him back to the carpark at Block 461, where he subsequently picked up a passenger.

Eunie flagged the incident as a safety hazard, citing poor night-time visibility on the PCN and the driver's apparent lack of alertness. Under the Road Traffic Rules, vehicles cannot be driven or parked on road footways except for bicycles and mobility devices; the Active Mobility Act similarly prohibits ordinary motor vehicles on shared paths. Stomp contacted ComfortDelGro for comment but the operator's response was not disclosed.
