Third kitten found dead at Block 671A Yishun Ave 4 in four days

A third kitten was found dead at Block 671A Yishun Avenue 4 on April 20, 2021, just four days after two other kittens were allegedly thrown from an HDB unit at the same location and discovered dead on April 16. The incidents were flagged by Yishun Cat Patrol, whose Facebook appeal for witnesses drew a response from resident Muhammad Farhan, who found the third kitten — matching the fur colour of the previous two — at 9.30pm and buried it himself. Authorities confirmed they are investigating the earlier two deaths, with SPCA Executive Director Dr Jaipal Singh Gill calling the losses "heartbreaking" and urging witnesses to come forward. The pattern is more disturbing than isolated: a Stomper subsequently reported two additional cat deaths at the same block in January and October 2020, suggesting Block 671A may have a repeat offender.
