Jaywalker launched by car on Yishun Ave 2, walks it off anyway

A man jaywalking across Yishun Avenue 2 on Christmas Eve was struck by a dark-coloured car after stepping off a road divider directly into oncoming traffic, sending him airborne. The incident, captured on video and shared via SGFollowsAll's Telegram channel on Dec. 24, 2024, shows the man in a grey t-shirt and shorts jogging across the road before being obscured by a passing vehicle — leaving the oncoming driver no time to brake. Remarkably, the man rose from the road almost immediately, retrieved his belongings, then bent down clutching his knees in what appeared to be a delayed acknowledgment that being hit by a car does, in fact, hurt. Paramedics were reportedly not required, suggesting either a miraculous outcome or an extraordinary commitment to walking it off.
