Yishun driver flashes high beam, chases motorcyclist, argues at red light
On 31 July at around 10:35pm near Yishun Dam, a car driver nearly collided with a motorcycle after failing to check his blind spot during a lane change. Rather than accept responsibility, the driver flashed his high beam, sped up to follow the rider, and engaged in what the motorcyclist described as playing the 'braking game'—repeatedly slowing down without traffic ahead to provoke a reaction.
When confronted at a traffic junction, the driver wound down his window and began yelling at the motorcyclist. The incident was captured on dashcam footage and posted to Facebook by the rider (username hellwin_junior). Netizens urged the OP to report the driver to authorities, with several criticising the driver's reckless behaviour and entitled attitude.
The car was also observed driving straight from a 'right-turn only' lane, a potential traffic violation under Singapore rules.
