Yishun cat found dead after allegedly being fed poisoned milk at Block 356

A stray cat died at the void deck of Block 356 along Yishun Ring Road after being fed tainted milk by an unknown individual. A witness reported seeing someone give milk to the cat, which was discovered dead beside the bowl shortly after. Community cat feeders in Yishun launched an alert through Facebook group Cat Lovers Singapore, with members of the Yishun 326 Tabby Cat page coordinating a response.

A passerby placed the cat's body in a cushioned box out of respect. However, a netizen alleged that a community cat feeder obstructed Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) officers from collecting the carcass for investigation, preventing a formal autopsy that could have confirmed poisoning. The incident adds to Yishun's documented history of animal cruelty cases.
