Two women pinned under car at Yishun Street 22 carpark, three sent to hospital

A three-vehicle accident at the open carpark of Block 259 Yishun Street 22 on November 1, 2022 left two female pedestrians trapped beneath the front of a car, with graphic footage of the aftermath circulating on WhatsApp the following day. The collision, which occurred at approximately 2:45pm, involved two cars, a motorcycle, and two pedestrians aged 64 and 15. A 31-year-old female driver and both pedestrians were conveyed conscious to hospital — two to KK Women's and Children's Hospital and one to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. Bystander videos captured screaming crowds and one of the injured women, visibly bloodied and dazed, being attended to on the carpark ground. Police investigations are ongoing.
