PMA rider hospitalised after flipping it on Yishun park connector

A personal mobility aid (PMA) rider was taken to hospital after allegedly speeding and overturning along a Yishun park connector, in what authorities would diplomatically describe as a self-inflicted outcome. The rider, whose need for speed apparently outpaced the vehicle's engineering tolerances, lost control and came off the device on the connector path. Emergency services attended the scene and the rider was conveyed to hospital for treatment. PMAs — designed for mobility assistance, not velocity records — have been a recurring fixture in Singapore's ongoing debate over active mobility device regulation on shared paths.
